CAMPING

Wilderness Adventure offers beautiful, primitive campsites to fit a variety of camping styles: pull-in RV sites, individual tent camping, roof-top camping, and large, private group sites. Our campsites are privately nestled within a cedar forest along the edges of a large, spacious meadow bordering the rolling waters of Craig Creek. All sites are within walking distance to our warm shower-house and water hydrants. Ice, firewood, & water cubes available onsite.

Camping options

THE MEADOW: Private, primitive tent & RV sites nestled with the cedars along the border of our very large meadow.

  • Port-o-pot nearby. Walking distance to shower house.

  • Fire ring and picnic tables. Vehicle accessible.

  • All sites can accommodate 2-3 tents depending on size.

  • Small group site available for 3-5 tents.

THE GROVE: Communal camping area under the shade of trees. Perfect for camping with friends, hanging hammocks in the trees.

  • Fire rings and picnic tables. Vehicle accessible.

  • Close proximity to shower house and main lodge.

THE WALL FIELD: Large private field. Perfect for large groups of family or friends.

  • RV & Vehicle accessible.

  • Covered pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grill.

  • Private port-o-pot.

  • Shower house within 5-10 walking distance.

GENERAL CAMPING: Don’t need a picnic table or fire ring? Pitch a tent just about wherever you’d like. We have lots of space to spread out.

  • General Camping (Pitch-a-Tent): $20/tent

  • The Grove: $30/tent

  • Old Crab Tree, Crooked Tree, & Cyprus: $30/site

  • The Meadow (Meadow 1, 2, 4-10): $45/site

  • Small Group Sites (Meadow 3 & The Cedars): $75/site 3-5 tents

  • The Wall Field: $175 for 6+ tents (max 10 adults…$25/adult after that)

HOSTEL IN THE LODGE

The Main Lodge at Wilderness Adventure is the hub of activity here on our property and designed to accommodate large groups in a bunk-style setting. Built in keeping with the original log style of the Old Homestead B&B, the Main Lodge is rustic, cozy, and has everything to meet the needs of a large group.

Accommodations

  • 4 rooms with 4 single bunks sets (sleeps 8 )

  • 3 rooms with 2 bunk sets (sleeps 4 )

  • 1 room with full-down/single-up bunk set (sleeps 3 )

  • 1 room with 1 full bed and 1 single bed (sleeps 3)

  • No kitchen. Food available on special event weekends only.

  • Large outdoor fire pit, activity area with volleyball court, lawn games, etc.
