Labyrinth, Pilgrimage and Meditation - Saturday AM
Labyrinths are an ancient archetype dating back 5,000 years. Used symbolically, the labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of prayer and a blueprint where psyche meets Spirit. It has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circuitous way to the center. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. Unlike a maze where you lose your way, the labyrinth is a spiritual tool that can help you find your way.
Walking the Labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart and grounds the body ... Some find answers to questions long asked, some find healing, creativity, a sense of wholeness ... What will you find on your labyrinth journey?
Labyrinths are currently being used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life, and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection, stress reduction, and to discover innovation and celebration. They are open to all people as a non-denominational, cross-cultural blueprint for well-being. The practice of labyrinth walking integrates the body with the mind and the mind with the spirit.

Prana Pulse - Saturday PM
This class is inspired by several practices both ancient and modern. (Think rhythmic squats and athletic grooves, shaking it all out and tantric hatha yoga mudras where the mind breath and body work together simultaneously) It includes big physical movements to music that ignite the fire in the navel center which is the space to transform limitations and fears. Once we have stoked that fire are able to rest in its glow. Longer holds in a few intentional asanas allow for an opening and release. Integration of heat and light allows for our own unique strengths as we sit in a stillness freshly invigorated with our unique life force energy—-the pulsation of Prana.

Qoya - Sunday AM
Qoya (pronounced COY-ahh) means “Queen” in Quechuan, an indigenous language used by the shamans in the Andean region of South America, specifically, Peru. Its translation of “Queen” is not a woman of inherited power ruling over people and landscapes, but an empowered woman seated at the throne of her life, tapped into, and manifesting higher consciousness for the highest good of others.
Qoya, is a mindful movement practice, is designed to feel how the body and movement is a portal to remembering our essence is wise, wild, and free. Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms that we practice in each class: Wise, the ancient wisdom of yoga; Wild, the creative expression in dance; Free, expanding our capacity to enjoy moving our bodies through flow.
In every Qoya class, you experience 13 core components expressing a unique theme for the day that deepens the movement experience. You also engage in ritual, internal pilgrimage, and community connections to open your heart, mind, and spirit. You slow down and feel. You sweat. You play and have fun! You laugh! Your perspective shifts from going through the motions to savoring life as sacred. You find the answers you seek in your body, and as well as the support to follow those answers. There are no levels in Qoya and no experience is necessary. Imagine there is no way you can do it wrong, and the way you know you're doing it right is when it feels good and resonates in your skin.
What if your life could follow the same rule?

Sound Bath - Sunday AM
I will be playing a variety of bowls, chimes and gongs. I invite you to relax, drop in, and just experience the vibrations. Gong sounds are able to bring deeper states of meditation for some and a sense of well being for others. If you have been feeling fragmented lately, this is a good way to bring yourself back together by just feeling and hearing the vibrations. Our bodies are made of over 70% water, right? This is a great way to feel unified and spacious with love!

DESPACHO - Sunday closing ceremony
Despacho is an ancient Gratitude Ritual passed down from Shamans of the Q’ero Nation in the high Andes Mountains of Peru. Using organic, tangible items we will acknowledge that which we are grateful for in this moment. What has brought you here? What has supported you? What has given you reason to smile, to appreciate, to carry on? What are you grateful for, and in how many ways can we acknowledge this in order to create the spaciousness inside ourselves for more good things to come in and fill our lives?
